KING COUNTY FAIR
THURS-SUN – Carnival rides, games, live music, 4-H animals, food, drink and so much more!
WED-SUN – Featuring aerialists and acrobats! Juggling, balancing & daredeviltry from around the world! Plus ridiculous antics and venardos’ own broadway-style singing and dancing!
TIMBER MUSIC FESTIVAL
THURS-SUN – Enjoy a weekend of fun, music, nature, and community. Many free adventures like kayaking, nature painting, paddle boarding and much more.
SEATTLE STREET FOOD FESTIVAL
SAT-SUN – Over 150 delicious food trucks, street food & handmade shops curbside over three city blocks in South Lake Union.
SEAFAIR POW WOW
FRI-SUN – Enjoy fantastic food, music, and dance. All are welcome as we proudly share our culture at Daybreak Star Indian Cultural Center grounds.
BREMERTON SUMMER BREWFEST
FRI-SAT – Featuring 36 Washington breweries pouring more than 100 craft beers, focusing on fruit infused beers. Learn more from our expert brewers while you enjoy live music and local food.
KENT CORNUCOPIA DAYS
FRI-SUN – South King County’s oldest and largest festival! Street fair, parade, dragon boat races, 5k, live entertainment & more!
FRI-SUN – Drink for a cause, a benefit for Homeward Pet Adoption Center! Washington’s first-rate wineries, restaurants, chefs, food trucks, and vendors come together to celebrate a beautiful summer weekend.
SAT-SUN – Featuring non-stop cultural performances including dragon and lion dances, Traditional Korean drumming, martial arts demonstrations, the Chinese girls drill team, and much more.
SAT-SUN – Showcasing Arab culture and arts in our own community.
BON ODORI FESTIVAL
SAT-SUN – The main event is traditional music and dancing in the street. Many festival goers dress in Japanese kimono, yukata or happi coats. The event also features Japanese food booths and refreshment, taiko and martial arts performances, and craft exhibits and demonstrations.
OUT TO LUNCH SUMMER CONCERT SERIES
Through September 1 – Live music every weekday at a different location.
WOODEN O: SHAKESPEARE IN THE PARKS
Through August 6 – Free, outdoor productions of classical plays performed in parks throughout the Puget Sound region. Grab a picnic, bring your family and join us for some free Shakespeare in the parks!
NIGHT AT THE NEPTUNE
Through August 10 – A series of free summer performances at The Neptune in Seattle that focuses on showcasing local artists’ work as it relates to race and social justice.
CONCERTS AT THE LOCKS
Through September 16 – Enjoy summer concerts on the lawn at the Hiram M Chittenden Locks.
FREE WEEKEND WALKS
Through November – Tours are tailored for an adult audience, and the topic changes monthly. See the calendar below for details. Tour groups gather in front of the Graham Visitors Center.
MONA LISA HEIST
All Month – 165th Ave, Redmond: Take part in the most famous heist of the 20th century! An amazing adventure in the Louvre. Go through the security room, deactivating clever alarms and security systems. Get to the exhibit hall filled with ancient artifacts and paintings. Finally, steal the main exhibit piece, The Mona Lisa! Can you complete this mission in less than 60 minutes?
WINE & CHOCOLATE PAIRING
EVERY THURS, FRI, SAT – Sweet Decadence Wine & Chocolate Bar: This fun, casual and educational experience will help novice wine drinkers develop a new appreciation for different wines while more experienced wine drinkers can get a “grape” experience as well.
LASER LIGHT SHOWS
ALL MONTH – Experience the largest and longest operating domed laser theater in the world.
SEATTLE SMASH PUTT
All Month (FRI-SUN) – Putt-putt like you’ve never played it, going out with a bang in a funky new pop-up space in Downtown Seattle. Experience brand new crazy contraptions presented with a collection of your favorites from our nostalgic past! Pacific Science Center.
TOURS & ACTIVITIES
ALL MONTH – Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Visitor Center: Through engaging and thought-provoking exhibits, parents and children dive into some of the world’s toughest challenges and learn how to act on their own ideas and solutions. Families can expect hands-on exhibits and spaces to create, explore, and discuss.
SCAVENGER HUNT ADVENTURE
ALL MONTH – Enjoy this interactive scavenger hunt that takes you on a journey to see the best sights in the city while feeling like you are on the Amazing Race.
